Program Description
Combine theory and exercise. Train your body and soul. This is the essence of Chinese Martial Arts. Allied Gateway’s Guangzhou Martial Arts Programs are held at the Guangdong University of Sports. Participants train under the guidance of China 's prominent Wushu masters and past National Chinese Wushu Champions. These highly experienced masters are dedicated to providing high quality training for all students. Intensive trainings are held in the morning and extra curriculum activities held in the afternoon and weekends to enhance your Chinese experience greatly.

Extra Curriculum Activities
A group of Extra Curriculum Activities are covered by the Program, which will enhance your Chinese experience greatly.

Wushu Oriented Electives: Wushu electives are offered to provide participants with a chance of practicing other forms. Forms include Praying Mantis, Sanshou, Drunken Boxing, Tumbling Boxing and Bagua Zhang etc. Electives are open in the afternoon of every Monday and Wednesday.

Wushu Supervision: Supervision aims to correct and perfect your movement and skills as a supplementary to the training section in the morning. Supervisor will really slow down to demonstrate you every movement and emphasize in details. Supervisions are open in the afternoon of every Tuesday and Thursday.

Chinese Language Training (optional): Chinese tutoring is organized for those who intend to learn Chinese at his free time. Time and contents can be arranged flexibly according to learner’s needs.

Weekend Excursions: Allied Gateway organizes weekend trips in Beijing. Attractions include Forbidden City, Greatwall, Summer Palace, Lama Temple etc.

Cultural Workshops: Beijing is a city rich in history, which leaves Beijing with precious legacies. Allied Gateway Cultural Workshops includes Paper Cutting, Peking Opera, Chinese Knot etc.

Social Activities: A handful of activities are organized to provide a perfect West Meet East environment for Program Participants to mingle with locals. Activities include Bao Jiaozi (make dumpling), Karaoke night, bowling, weekend camp etc.

Weekend Trip to Shaolin Temple: In the middle of the program, a weekend trip to Shaolin Temple is organized and offered to all WUSHU program participants. There you will have precious chance of training with Shifu from the /,mtemple.

Travel Arrangements
Allied Gateway organizes trips out of Beijing every month. Participants can sign up for both himself and his friends. Popular trip destinations include: Xi'an, Qingdao, Pingyao, Dalian, Inner Mongolia and Shanghai at discounted price. Two-way transportaion by train, accommodation at a 3-star hotel, food and all the admission cost and local transportation are included. One staff from Allied Gateway and an English speaking tour guide will accompany you through the trip.

In addition, Allied Gateway staff will help you with your own trip plan as well such as hotel arrangements and transportation booking when needed.

Certificates
With a view to ensuring the teaching quality, appropriate examinations will be held at the end of the training course. Diplomas will be issued to the participants who pass the examination successful. The exam will be held in the form of match.

Airport Transfer
Allied Gateway provides airport pick-up service to Program Participants. Our staff will meet you at the arrival gate after your get your luggage and take you to your accommodation. You need to provide us with correct flight information – flight number / flight date 2 weeks before your program starts. Airport drop-off service is offered to participants at the end of the program. To make sure smooth transition, you will be provided with Allied Gateway contact number before you come to China in case of last minute changes.

Accommodation
Allied Gateway provides on campus accommodation to participants.
Campus Budget
Live on campus at Foreign Students Dorm. All rooms furnished with bed, desk, chair, lamp, telephone, air-conditioner. All rooms share bathrooms. Hot water available in the morning and evening.

Hotel
Live in a 3-star hotel conveniently located close to the university. Single occupancy or double shared standard room available. The hotel rooms are well furnished with bed, TV, telephone, fridge, private bathroom, desk, internet access and air-conditioner. Hotel facilities include laundry, gym and daily house-keeping.
