Features
Allied Gateway Mandarin Immersion Programs consists of three parts: University Class Training, Allied Gateway Real Life Instruction and Extra Curriculum Activities. The University Class Training integrates all different skills of the language: phonetics, speaking, listening, writing, reading, grammar and vocabulary. Allied Gateway Real Life Instruction is held every two weeks exclusively to Allied Gateway participants. Instructions occur in real life environment with one subject in each section. Subjects include eating, transportation, theatre, shopping, job-hunting, seeing a doctor etc.

The program allows you to immerse yourself in real life experiences that require you to utilize and develop your Mandarin communication skills through authentic daily practice and activities.

Curriculum
Classes are divided into 3 basic levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. A placement test will be conducted after enrolment at the university.

Curriculum are designed to meet the needs of each proficiency level and the program length to ensure you progress rapidly and able to communicate in Chinese in a more effective and efficient manner.

Placement Test
Classes are divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced. An overall placement test including reading, writing, speaking and listening is carried out at the beginning of the program in order to place you in the most suitable environment. Beginners don’t need to take the test.

Evaluation and Certificates
Small quizzes will be carried out now and then to test the progress. A final test will be held at the end of the program. Participants will receive official diplomas and certificates including transcripts.

Airport Transfer
Allied Gateway provides free airport arrival-pick-up service for Program Participants. Our staff will meet you at the arrival gate after you get your luggage and take you to your accommodation. You need to provide us with correct flight information – flight number / flight date 2 weeks before your program starts. To make sure smooth transition, you will be provided with Allied Gateway contact number before you come to China in case of last minute changes.

Campus Budget Double/Single
All rooms are furnished with TV, telephone, high-speed internet connection, book shelf, desk, desk lamp, chairs, safe, bed and bedding, air conditioner. Single occupancy available. Public bathroom provides 24 hours hot water. Other public facilities include laundry, kitchen, cafeteria, shop, internet bar, gym and fax shop.
Campus Standard Double/Single
All rooms are furnished with TV, telephone, high-speed internet connection, book shelf, desk, desk lamp, chairs, safe, bed and bedding, air conditioner, refrigerator and private bathroom with 24 hours hot water. Room services include daily cleaning, domestic travel agency and food order and delivery. Other public facilities include self-service laundry, kitchen, restaurants, shop, internet bar, gym, fax shop, snack bar and ATM.
Campus Two Bedrooms Studio Shared
Two bedrooms campus dorm on campus with one student living in one bedroom. Shared facilities in the room include one sitting room and bathroom with 24 hours hot water. Each room is furnished with TV, telephone, high-speed internet connection, book shelf, desk, desk lamp, chairs, safe, bed and bedding, air conditioner, refrigerator. Room services include daily cleaning, domestic travel agency and food order and delivery. Other public facilities include self-service laundry, kitchen, restaurants, shop, internet bar, gym, fax shop, snack bar and ATM.
