Program Description
This is an innovative Cantonese course designed for people with intermediate Mandarin competence but have little or no knowledge of the Cantonese language. With a focus on speaking and listening skills, the course aims at building up participants' proficiency and confidence in using Cantonese for daily communication. Through a communicative and functional approach, and the use of interactive activities, it will help participants to acquire new vocabulary and basic structures in real-life situations.

Accmmodation - Hotel (3*)
Single occupancy provided only. The hotel rooms are well furnished with bed, TV, telephone, fridge, private bathroom, desk, internet access, air-conditioning. Hotel facilities include laundry, gym and daily house-keeping.
Pengyou (friends) Exchange Program
We will arrange a local Chinese friend for you based on age, sex and interests. Not only it’s the one of the best ways to enhance your listening and speaking skills, but also an effective way to obtain the most updated and common-used Cantonese.
Extra Curriculum Activities
We organizea variety of activities for program participants not only to improve your language competence, but also help you understand the Chinese culture and society. Activities include language and culture oriented electives, weekend sightseeings, cultural workshops, and monthly excursions out of Guangzhou.

Travel Arrangements
We organize trips out of Guangzhou every month. Participants can sign up for yourself and your friends. Popular trip destinations include: Hong Kong, Shanghai, Yangshuo, Phenix Ancient City, Zhaoqing, Shaoguan and Shenzhen at discounted prices. Two-way transportaion by train, accommodation at 3-star hotel, food and all the admission cost and local transportation are included. Our staff will accompany you through the tour.
In addition, our staff will help you with your own trip plan as well such as hotel arrangements and transportation booking when needed.

Airport Transfer
We prvide free airport arrival-pick-up service to Program Participants. Our staff will meet you at the arrival gate after your get your luggage and take you to your accommodation. You need to provide us with correct flight information – flight number / flight date 2 weeks before your program starts. To make sure smooth transition, you will be provided with a contact number before you come to China in case of last minute changes.
