Program Description
Allied Gateway's Guangzhou Martial Arts & Travel Combination Program combines the essence of Wushu training and wonderful travel experience. Combine theory and exercise; train your body and soul. Participants train under the guidance of China's prominent past National Chinese Wushu Champions for 4 weeks. These highly experienced masters are dedicated to providing high quality training for all students, from total beginners to participants competing in National Wushu competitions. After the training, participants will travel to Beijing for 5 days. Program starts in Guangzhou and ends in Beijing. Allied Gateway can assist you in transportation arrangement between Beijing and your departure point.

Class Hours
Training: 8:30 – 11:00am Monday - Friday
Elective: 1:30 – 3:30 Monday and Wednesday
Supervision: 1:30 – 3:30 Tuesday and Thursday

Extra Curriculum Activities
A group of Extra Curriculum Activities are covered by the Program, which are to enhance your Wushu skills and Chinese experience.

Wushu Oriented Electives: Wushu electives are offered to provide participants with a chance of practicing other forms. Forms include Praying Mantis, Sanshou, Drunken Boxing, Tumbling Boxing and Bagua Zhang etc. Electives are open in the afternoon of every Monday and Wednesday.

Wushu Supervision: Supervision aims to correct and perfect your movement and skills as a supplementary to the training section in the morning. Supervisor will really slow down to demonstrate you every movement and emphasize in details. Supervisions are open in the afternoon of every Tuesday and Thursday.

Chinese Language Training (optional): Chinese tutoring is organized for those who intend to learn Chinese at his free time at extra expenses. Time and contents can be arranged flexibly according to learner’s needs. Participants pay directly to the teacher instead of Allied Gateway.

Weekend Excursions: Allied Gateway organizes weekend trips in Guangzhou. Attractions include Pearl River Cruise, Qingping Market, The Nan Yue King Tomb Museum, Xiangjiang Night Safari etc.

Social Activities: A handful of activities are organized to provide a perfect West-meeting-East environment for program participants to mingle with locals. Activities include Bao Jiaozi (make dumpling), Karaoke, bowling, weekend camp etc.

Certificates
With a view to ensuring the teaching quality, appropriate examinations will be held at the end of the training course. Certificates will be issued to the participants who pass the examination successful. The exam will be held in the form of competition.

Airport Transfer
Allied Gateway provides airport pick-up service to Program Participants. Our staff will meet you at the arrival gate after you get your luggage and take you to your accommodation. You need to provide us with correct flight information – flight number / flight date 2 weeks before your program starts. Airport drop-off service is offered to participants at the end of the program. To make sure smooth transition, you will be provided with Allied Gateway contact number before you come to China in case of last minute changes.

Hotel
Live in a 3-star hotel conveniently located close to the university. Single occupancy or double shared standard room. The hotel rooms are well furnished with bed, TV, telephone, fridge, private bathroom, desk, internet access, air-conditioning. Hotel facilities include laundry, gym and daily house-keeping.

Hotel in Beijing
Located at downtown area and conveniently connected to attractions in Beijing. The hotel is quiet and nice. All rooms are standard rooms furnished with TV, air-conditioner, telephone, bed, bathroom and water boiler. Double occupancy provided only.
